  • Job Summary:

The Warehouse Lead is responsible for overseeing the team in absence of the Warehouse Supervisors or Manager, ensuring compliance with company policies, safety standards, and food safety protocols. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Office, SAP, and knowledge of GMP. Candidates should have relevant experience and a commitment to fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Accountability: Warehouse Supervisor / Manager

Job responsibilities & duties:

  • Maintain up-to-date project lists, with appropriate information.
  • Prepare all reports on time, completely and accurately.
  • Learn and apply problem solving principles on daily basis.
  • Ensure that in leading a team follow company's policy for treating all Team Members fairly, courteously, and consistently, and within the legal aspects provided by company policy.
  • Perform job effectively and efficiently.
  • Follow other Company policies and procedures, as issued and changed from time to time.
  • Ensure that associates are complying and following procedures on materials and finished goods transactions/transfers.
  • Ensure that all warehouse inventory is properly accounted for completely and accurately and timely.
  • Reconcile inventory as needed.
  • Monitor and maintain pallet supply levels for manufacturing and shipping.
  • Ensure warehouse is organized and in compliance with "5S", LEAN and GMP principles.
  • Communicate with operations supervisors that support the operations and act as a coordinator to assure proper levels of raw materials and corrugation are accessible to operations. Address the materials needs of evening and weekend shifts.
  • Establish mechanism and implement cost-savings plans by resourcing and supporting Six Sigma projects
  • Ensure that the warehouse is orderly and well organized.
  • Ensure that products/material locations are accurate according to IQMS reports.
  • Assist regrind material consumption
  • Report weekly progress on reduction of trailer storage and performance of any projects assigned by the department manager
  • Maintain Housekeeping log for department. Facilitate the cleaning procedures through teamwork, by rotating assignments to all department employees.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday 11:30pm to 8:00am
