About the Role: Johnson Brothers is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse Lead to support our warehouse operations. In this hands on leadership role, you will help train new team members, support daily workflow, and ensure accuracy, safety, and productivity across the shift. This is a labor-intensive role responsible for moving stock repeatedly throughout the shift both manually and with equipment. Schedule is Sunday through Thursday 5:30 pm to completion or as business needs dictate.

  • Assist warehouse management in directing daily activities including loading, unloading, and order selections.
  • Train and onboard new hires on picking, palletizing, baler operation, jackpot operation, and general warehouse procedures.
  • Reinforce SOPs, work rules, and safety guidelines for all employees.
  • Support, influence, and motivate team members to meet productivity, accuracy, and safety goals.
  • Serve as a liaison between employees and management to support communication and workflow.
  • Use the warehouse management system to locate products, process orders, and maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, balers, and other warehouse equipment.
  • Load branch pallet orders and support general loading/unloading tasks.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment with proper housekeeping practices.
  • Ensure a safe work environment by following and enforcing all safety procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For:

  • 1-3 years of warehouse experience; prior lead or trainer experience a plus.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to lead through teamwork and influence.
  • Ability to safely lift 40-60 lbs. repeatedly and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Must be able to endure prolonged periods of standing and walking
  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

Candidate must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and a criminal background check.
