Job Description Job Description contract to hire $23-24/hr. DOE

Johnson Service Group is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead for one of our clients in a fast-paced Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) environment. This role is responsible for overseeing warehouse processes, driving operational improvements, supporting team development, and ensuring compliance with company, customer, and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Assist in supervising warehouse operations, systems, and processes to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
Monitor department KPIs and operational metrics and take corrective action as needed.
Identify and implement process improvements to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency.
Support employee training, mentoring, performance evaluations, and development plans.
Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and company procedures.
Support Quality Management Systems and ISO compliance requirements.
Assist with resource planning to meet production and operational goals.
Promote continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Provide daily guidance and support to Material Handlers and warehouse staff.
Prepare reports, maintain records, and perform data entry as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Minimum 5 years of warehouse and logistics experience in an EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) environment.
Minimum 3 years of warehouse supervisory or leadership experience.
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills.
Previous forklift experience preferred, specifically Stand-Up Reach Forklift.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Knowledge of import/export compliance requirements and warehouse best practices.
Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies preferred.
Understanding of EMS industry operations and NPI (New Product Introduction) processes.
Work Environment
This position operates in a warehouse and manufacturing environment. Overtime may be required based on business needs.
