A Warehouse Lead Associate plays a critical role in ensuring warehouse operations run efficiently by leading associates, maintaining productivity and quality standards, promoting safety, and supporting management in achieving customer service and operational objectives.

Warehouse Lead Associate is responsible for leading daily warehouse operations by coordinating associates, ensuring productivity and safety goals are met, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting the supervisor or manager with operational execution. This role serves as the primary point of contact for the team during the shift and helps ensure customer orders are processed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support a team of warehouse associates during daily operations.
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and safety performance to meet operational goals.
  • Assign work and adjust staffing based on workload and priorities.
  • Train, coach, and mentor new and existing associates on standard operating procedures.
  • Ensure accurate picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
  • Troubleshoot workflow issues and resolve operational challenges.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
  • Communicate shift updates, priorities, and performance expectations to the team.
  • Assist supervisors with performance documentation, attendance, and operational reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
