What you will do::
  • Lead daily yard operations, including assigning tasks and coordinating workflow for yard associates
  • Oversee picking, staging, and preparation of materials for delivery based on work orders and customer requests
  • Ensure accurate loading, unloading, and transportation of materials using appropriate equipment
  • Verify order accuracy, including quantities and product condition, prior to delivery
  • Support inventory organization, cycle counts, and maintenance of staging areas
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and assist team members as needed
  • Coordinate and, when required, support deliveries to job sites or customer locations
  • Provide a high level of customer service during deliveries and yard interactions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment across the yard and warehouse
  • Ensure team adherence to all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE
  • Assist with training and onboarding of new team members
    Monitor team performance and provide guidance to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Complete and review documentation related to deliveries, inventory, and order tracking
  • Communicate effectively with management, drivers, and internal teams to support operations
    Perform additional duties as needed
What you will bring::
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
    Proven ability to lead, motivate, and support a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in warehouse, yard, delivery, or material handling operations
  • Experience operating forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Customer-focused mindset and professionalism
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities effectively
  • Basic math skills and ability to follow and enforce procedures
  • Reliability and strong work ethic
  • Familiarity with building materials or industrial products
  • Valid driver’s license (if driving is required)
  • Bilingual skills (e.g., Spanish) are a plus
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift and move materials as required
  • Ability to work in warehouse, yard, and/or outdoor environments
  • Comfort working in varying weather conditions and around equipment
  • Flexibility to work early mornings, extended hours, or travel between locations if required
