The Warehouse Lead reports to the Warehouse Manager and oversees daily shop-floor operations, ensuring efficiency and a positive work environment.
They supervise forklift operations, distribute materials, assist with order picking, and manage trailer loading/unloading, using RF scanners for inventory tracking.
Additionally, they ensure plant safety through training, inspections, and incident investigations, and handle administrative tasks such as shipping documentation and staffing.
They coordinate resin transfers, sample collection, and communicate shipping directions.
Qualifications include a high school diploma, at least 2 years of warehouse experience (supervisory preferred), valid forklift licenses, and knowledge of safety and lean manufacturing principles.
Core skills involve problem-solving, decision-making, prioritization, interpersonal skills, and minimal supervision.
