ScheduleThis position is for second shift, with regular working hours of 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM, Monday through Friday. Job SummaryLamons is seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee daily operations within the gasket and materials departments during second shift. This position is responsible for coordinating workflow, maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting production and quality objectives, and providing day-to-day guidance to team members. The Warehouse Lead works closely with the Branch Manager to resolve operational issues, improve processes, and ensure customer orders are completed safely, accurately, and on time.Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Inspects products to verify conformance to specifications and directs setup and adjustments of machines.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, assigns duties, and establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.
• Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and product quality.
• Analyzes and resolves product or order related problems.
• Maintains time and production records.
• Completes projects and assignments within established deadlines.
• Implements and completes jobs within the system.
• Performs daily cycle counts.
• Monitors daily inventory levels.
• Allocates bin locations for products.
• Maintains a clean and organized warehouse.
• Distributes work among gasket and materials department employees.
• Assists with stocking materials as needed.
• Operates forklifts and tow motors to transfer materials.
• Prepares shipping documentation.
• Coordinates shipments with freight carriers.
• Operates UPS and FedEx shipping software for outgoing shipments.
• Understands and follows all company safety rules and regulations.
• Maintains a clear understanding of Lamons' Quality Policy and Quality System requirements.
• Assists other departments and performs additional duties as assigned.

Skills

• Ability to read and understand specification sheets, quality documents, and work instructions.
• Ability to learn and effectively manage various material types.
• Ability to use measuring instruments and testing equipment to perform quality inspections as needed.
• Experience using measuring tools such as calipers, scales, micrometers, face mill arbors, and go/no-go gauges.
• Forklift experience preferred; must be able to become forklift certified through Lamons.
• Strong problem-solving skills related to product applications and customer requirements.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Education

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical school or junior college coursework preferred.

Work Experience

• Three to five (3-5) years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Previous experience operating manufacturing equipment preferred.
• Previous leadership or lead experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift, climb, bend, stoop, push, and pull.
• Continuous standing and/or walking throughout the workday.
• Ability to perform moderate physical work, including frequently lifting between 10 and 50 pounds.
• Ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Good hand-eye-foot coordination.
• Ability to work in hot, cold, dusty, and noisy environments.
• Must be able to become forklift certified.

CompensationPay Range: $26.00-$28.00 per hour, based on experience.
