Warehouse & Inventory Control Associate

Type: Full-time

Location: In person

Job Description: Safely performs receiving, stock keeping, inventory cycle counting, picking and preparing parts and equipment for shipping or for deliveries. The warehouse runs first shift only; some overtime is to be expected for this role.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Prepares customer orders by processing receipts, picking, packing, and shipping parts.
  • Ensures all customer orders meet quality standards, correct part, correct quantity, shipped to correct address, on time, every time.
  • Ships parts through parcel carriers (UPS) as well as Less than a Truck Load (LTL) and Dedicated trucks.
  • Loads and safely ties down parts and equipment onto trailers or truck beds for deliveries; also unloads trailers, and truck beds.
  • Safely operates mobile equipment such as Sit Down Fork Truck, Standup Reach Truck, Order picker.
  • Participates in semiannual (twice a year) physical inventory, performs daily cycle counting activities.
  • Keeps the exterior and interior of warehouses and administration buildings clean, free of debris and organized.
  • Follows all safety procedures per company policy, identifies and resolves any unsafe practices to ensure all employees operate in a safe environment.
  • Performs any other tasks assigned by Manager or Supervisor.

Requirements:

  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • General knowledge of warehouse and inventory control systems.
  • Experience with cycle count activities, forklift operation, shipping, and receiving.
  • Punctual with a strong attendance history.
  • Safe Driving skills
  • Experience driving and reversing a flatbed truck with a trailer attached.
  • Must be able to meet company's employment requirements, which includes passing a ADOT physical & regulated drug screen, criminal background check, and MVR.

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze, write and interpret general business documents in English.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written or schedule form.
