Warehouse Inventory Clerk

Job description:

Staff Force is currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Inventory Control Clerk to join a fast-paced warehouse and manufacturing environment. In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring inventory accuracy, conducting cycle counts, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining inventory records within the warehouse management system (WMS).

The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, safety-focused, and able to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Reliable on-site attendance is required.

Key Responsibilities Inventory Control & Cycle Counts

• Perform weekly, monthly, and annual cycle counts
• Conduct bin verifications and update inventory records within the WMS system
• Reconcile inventory discrepancies including shortages, overages, and damaged items
• Compare purchase orders with received products to ensure accuracy
• Investigate and resolve inventory-related issues

Warehouse Operations

• Load and unload trucks and containers
• Move, organize, and maintain inventory throughout the warehouse
• Transport products into rack storage and assembly areas
• Maintain accurate inventory records and documentation

Safety & Teamwork

• Follow all company safety procedures and operating guidelines
• Report equipment defects or maintenance concerns promptly
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Collaborate with team members to support warehouse and production operations
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy

QualificationsPreferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous inventory control or warehouse experience

Requirements:

• Ability to read, write, and understand inventory counts and documentation
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn warehouse management software
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Continuous improvement mindset and strong work ethic
