Job Title: Warehouse General Clerk
Pay: $17-19/Hour
Overview:
The SFDC Warehouse General clerk will support and assist with receiving and verifying goods, fulfill orders by selecting products for our stores. Ideal candidates are dependable, detailed and goal oriented, are team players with a positive attitude. Job requires frequent lifting, carrying and stacking products as well as operating electric pallet jack, electric rider jacks and forklift.
Essential Job Duties:
•Report to work on time and in uniform;
•Work with a positive attitude and demeanor;
•Take on new assignments with an eager and helpful demeanor;
•Stocking and replenishing of incoming shipments and ensure proper rotation of stock;
•Organize work areas and storage;
•Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation standards in compliance with GMP and Company policies;
•Be involved in physical activity, requires physical effort including lifting to 30-50 pounds and some extended periods of standing or walking;
•Able to use electric/manual pallet jack, rider jacks, sit down forklift, or stand-up forklift.
•Be available to assist in any way based on company needs.
•Work in a Hot or Cold Environment and able to handle repetitive motion or task as assigned.
Other Duties:
•Any additional duties assigned.
Working Environment:
•Works in a warehouse environment with either hot or cold temperatures.
Mental Demands:
•Ability to work independently as well as with the team.
•Must maintain focus during tasks, especially when dealing with intricate details or repetitive work.
•Ability to be flexible and adapt to changing conditions quickly.
Physical Demands:
•Must be able to regularly Lift, push, pull or carry up to 50 lbs.
•Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
•Must be able to handle physical repetitive motion
Communication Demands:
•Requires strong verbal, oral, reading, writing and comprehensive communication skills to effectively communicate with management and team.
Knowledge/Skills:
•Equipment Operation: Certification and experience with forklifts, pallet jacks, and order pickers
•Organization & Time Management: Ability to meet strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks, such as, for instance, picking and packing simultaneously.
•Attention to detail and good organizational skills.
•Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
•Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness.
Education/Experience:
•High School diploma required.
Licenses/Certifications:
•TB Clearance Required
