Job Summary
The Warehouse/ Logistics Worker is responsible for performing routine warehouse tasks including receiving, storing, and shipping goods, including delivery. This role ensures accurate handling of inventory and compliance with standard procedures. This job profile is intended for support staff that follows established procedures and works under close supervision. Smaller/easier decisions are made autonomously.

Summary:
Responsible for coordinating activities to support the successful completion of orders. Plays a supporting role in the coordination of departments involved to deliver quality products in compliance with customer specifications and department / company policies and procedures. Performs related tasks from receiving / expediting, motor modifications & testing, preparation and shipment, as well as warehouse/ inventory organization.

New Product Sales Manager
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
o Have and maintain the ability to use and operate forklifts and overhead cranes.
o Receive items into the ERP system, after resolving any data omissions and discrepancies which prevent accurate processing. Maintain a filing system for goods receipts and physically place items in storage locations.
o Physically receive items by unloading vehicles, accepting deliveries and forwarding documents to the New Product department.
o Ability to read and understand internal and external requirements of purchase orders, packing slips and other documentation.
o Package and prepare items for shipping. Create Bills of Lading and other shipping paperwork. Contact freight companies to coordinate logistics. Document condition via photos.
o Coordinate pick-ups and deliveries with internal and external transport contacts.
o Expedite and support activities related to items in process to ensure readiness for on time shipment.
o Determine method of shipment when not specified by customer and arrange pick-up by transporter.
o Computer proficiency with knowledge of Logistics systems (Portals), Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP systems (D365 strongly preferred).
o Work closely and clearly communicate with the other departments, including Mechanics, Machinists, Shipping/ Receiving, Sales, and Management.
o General knowledge of electro-mechanical equipment. Proficiency in mechanical tasks, motor modifications, and testing.
o Ability to operate specialized testing equipment and other equipment as needed.
o Must have own tools, basic hand tools, wrenches, socket set, impact driver, drill and calipers.
o Transport equipment and parts around department and between departments.
o Maintain inventory of warehouse and shipping materials.
o Perform specialized tasks as required.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills.
o Ability to act and work independently, adapt to change and have attention to detail.
o Must be able to work weekends and overtime at short notice as well as be on-call periodically.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
o High school diploma or equivalent
o Basic mechanical aptitude
o 3-5 years' experience in related work environment
o Certified forklift operator
