Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to join our team on a full-time basis. The Warehouse Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring that all processes and procedures are followed to maintain a safe and efficient working environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping of goods
- Ensure all inventory is properly labeled, stored, and accounted for
- Maintain accurate records of all incoming and outgoing shipments
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate stock is available at all times
- Train and supervise warehouse staff to ensure they are following all safety protocols and operating equipment properly
- Conduct regular inventory audits to identify and resolve any discrepancies
- Create and maintain warehouse schedules to ensure timely processing of orders
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse operations and improve overall efficiency
- Communicate any issues or concerns to management and provide recommendations for improvement
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations
- Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, post-secondary education in logistics or supply chain management is an asset
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and inventory management systems
- Forklift certification is an asset
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a warehouse setting
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
