The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing, shipping, and delivering orders, or managing, organizing, and retrieving stock in the warehouse. The Warehouse Clerk may also be responsible for operating and maintaining warehouse equipment, keeping records of inventory and stock, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Good attendance. • Works effectively with company personnel, customers, and others by sharing ideas in a constructive and positive manner; listening to and objectively considering ideas and suggestions from others; keeping commitments; keeping others informed of work progress, timetables, and issues; addressing problems and issues constructively to find mutually acceptable and practical business solutions; addressing others by name, title, or other respectful identifier, and; respecting the diversity of our workforce in actions, words, and deeds.

Warehouse Operations:

• Unload (using a forklift or manually) all incoming shipments from trucks. • Check for damage, shortage. • Sign bills of lading noting any exceptions. • Place all received items on shelf in proper designated space. • Load any outgoing shipment as required. • Help with preparation of outbound shipment documents are required. • Document all received shipments and match up with open purchase orders for accuracy. • Receipt of RMAs (Returned Material) and confirm with open RMAs for validity. • Confirm all items (part numbers and quantities). • Upon completion forward RMA to the appropriate person along with bills of lading and packing lists. • Place RMA material on shelf until material has been released to stock. • Keep list of RMAs open and closed. • Assist with data entry of received goods as required. • Assist with other warehouse material functions as required. • Maintenance of Receiving Area in a clean and proper manner and prescribed by Warehouse Manager.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Familiarity with Warehouse Management System, preferred. • Familiarity with common freight. • Performs all operations according to prescribed safety principles. • Ability to work with and preserve confidential information. • Acts as Company representative at other company locations, or at other companies. • Follows the procedures as presented in the Employee Handbook, Etiquette Brochure, department procedures, captures contact information, and follows verbal, written, or diagram instructions as provided by supervisors and managers. • Presents a professional appearance as well as presents a professional attitude with customers, distributors, vendors, and other company personnel. • Ability to drive with valid drivers license for valid Company reasons. • Presents professional communication skills - verbal, written, e-mail.

Education and Experience:

• High School diploma or GED. • Associate degree with a manufacturing or business emphasis preferred. • Valid drivers license issued by the state where you intend to work. • Two or more years of experience working in a warehouse-receiving environment a plus. • If operating forklift - must maintain certification. • If operating Fusion Machine - must maintain certification. • Strong computer skills; familiar with Microsoft Office a plus. • SAP experience, a plus. • Passing a Company post-employment physical as well as controlled substance testing and background and security checks, as required.

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements:

• Ability to discern various colors (wires, electronic components, etc.). • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds. Occasionally. Up to 150 pounds with 2 persons. • Climbing ladders. • Ability to read small, printed words and numbers accurately. • Bending. • Reaching. • Carrying equipment, tools, demo boxes, etc. • Accessing small spaces.
