Warehouse Clerk

The Warehouse Clerk is responsible for the receiving and shipping of orders. They process shipments, prepare deliveries, assist in inventory taking and participate in warehouse maintenance. The successful candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is a reliable, safety minded, team player possessing strong communication skills. They will be customer-oriented and efficient to ensure shipments are processed in a timely manner to be delivered on time to the extensive GSS customer base.

Your impact includes:

• Filing requisitions, work orders or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributing items to shipping or designated route driver storage area.
• Sorting and placing products on racks, shelves, and bins; possessing the ability to lift or move 50 lbs.
• Entering delivery information into Navision.
• Preparing packages from stock for delivery.
• Marking materials with identifying information, weighing, counting items, and filing purchase orders.
• Warehouse maintenance including sweeping, disposal of trash and cardboard boxes, icepacks. Maintaining walk-through areas ensuring they are clean and free of obstructions.
• Assisting with cycle and annual inventory counts.
• Other duties as assigned.

What you'll need to succeed includes:

• High school diploma.
• Two or more years of warehouse experience including the use of warehouse machinery, such as a forklift or pallet jack.
• Experience with shipping and receiving in a fast-paced environment.
• Safety oriented.

Education/experience that will make you stand out includes:

• Experience shipping with top carriers such as FedEx, UPS, Old Dominion is a plus.
• Oracle experience is a plus.
• Hazmat shipping and handling is a plus.

The details include:

• Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Shift hours: 7:30am-4:00pm

Salary: $45,000-48,000.00

Work authorization: Must be eligible to work in the United States.
