Warehouse Clerk - 2nd Shift
Pay: $19.00 per hour
Schedule: 2nd Shift
Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Clerk to support daily warehouse operations, including order selecting, stocking product, inventory movement, and maintaining accurate warehouse documentation. This role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Accurately select products to fulfill customer orders using a cherry picker or other Powered Industrial Trucks as assigned.
- Properly arrange selected products on pallets for inspection and order verification.
- Review and manage required paperwork, including customer orders and vendor stock sheets.
- Support accurate tracking and movement of inventory throughout the warehouse.
- Work closely with Warehouse Managers, Material Handlers, Dock Unloaders, and Forklift Operators.
- Ensure proper product flow according to warehouse procedures.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all safety standards, procedures, and company policies.
Requirements
- Ability to pass Powered Industrial Truck certification training.
- Recent experience operating cherry pickers, forklifts, and pallet jacks is highly preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to follow warehouse procedures and policies.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Skills & Abilities
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety standards.
- Comfortable working in varying warehouse conditions, including heat and cold temperatures.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, pull, push, and lift throughout the shift.
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds repeatedly.
- Comfortable working in high heat and cold warehouse conditions.
