Purpose: The Warehouse Associate plays a crucial role in managing the flow of inventory and scheduling of projects for the team members. The Warehouse Associate will collaborate with internal staff to load, stage materials, and manage supplies for job sites and supplies on production orders.

Responsibilities:

  • Material handling organizing, monitoring of inventory and loading and unloading of material at warehouse Maintain clean warehouse environment at all times.

  • Palletizing material order list, wrap/stage material, review instructions of material direct shipped to site and the following of all necessary protocols

  • Receive materials and properly store

  • Examine supply deliveries to shop and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or of the incoming or outgoing shipment and assignment to correct project destination

  • Review truck loading, roofing loading procedures to increase efficiency and productivity

  • All product coming in and leaving is properly accounted and documented (physical inventory counts)

  • Light building maintenance (light bulb changes, stocking essential products, debris sweeping etc..

  • Ensure landscaping is tidy at all times (plantings, weeding etc.).

  • Jobsite deliveries when needed.

  • Investigating and resolving issues

  • Ensuring that safety policies are strictly adhered to

  • Reviewing daily progress to ensure that deadlines are met.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure driven results

  • Additional duties as needed.

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • Material handling knowledge and best practices

  • Proven experience in warehouse management

  • Experience with voice picking systems or RF devices

  • Experience with warehouse equipment (eg. forklifts, pallet jacks)

  • The ability to work in different environmental conditions.

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the job

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

  • Organizational skills

  • Valid Driver's License.

  • Willingness to obtain DOT HAZMAT credentials

Preferred:

  • Small engine repairs
