Warehouse Associate/Reach Truck Operator

Job Description:

The role of the Warehouse Associate is to support Assembly and

Sales by completing the following duties:

-Operation of Forklift & Reach Truck

-Receive incoming packages. Log and distribute accordingly.

-Verify goods received, match receiving paperwork for raw materials.

-Cleanliness of warehouse. Dispose daily all garbage and recyclables. Ensure all aisles are

clear at all times.Remove any trash or empty pallets from warehouse locations and place

accordingly, trash or re-use Report any potential issues to management.

-Process daily returns to inventory in an accurate fashion, from counting verification to

putaway daily.

-Process daily putaway of finished goods timely and accurately daily.

-Routine cycle counting , with accurate counts of open goods in warehouse locations, don't

assume the pallet label or system inventory is accurate. Verify items in locations correctly

against the cycle count report .

-Stage daily for production batches pulling material with the shortest expiration date following

FIFO. With accurate counting , must count open packing , Issue inventory to Job while

staging , in a timely manner not to delay other necessary warehouse functions or production

set up.

-Assist drivers with loading or unloading incoming and outgoing freight & orders.

-Ability to resolve warehouse and inventory issues with research and resolution without

leaving for someone else to do.

-Assistance for outbound order prep, from picking to relabeling , wrapping, dims, weight and

staging .

-Ensure all forklifts are charged and in working order at all times.Water levels checked

weekly, Daily inspections must be completed, proper operations of reach truck equipment

maintaining a safe workplace environment .

-Use required PPE to perform work and follow company safety guidelines.
