About the Role:
The Warehouse Associate supports daily warehouse operations by handling materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring timely distribution of equipment and supplies for telecommunications construction projects. This role plays a key part in supporting field crews working on fiber, aerial, and underground builds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and equipment
- Pick, pack, and prepare materials for delivery to job sites
- Load and unload trucks using proper safety procedures
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts
- Organize and maintain a clean and safe warehouse and yard
- Track and manage telecom materials such as fiber cable, conduit, handholes, and tools
- Assist with deliveries and coordinate with field crews as needed
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts (if certified)
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of warehouse, logistics, or construction experience preferred
- Experience with telecom or construction materials is a plus
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor throughout the day
- Comfortable working in indoor and outdoor environments
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Valid driver's license required
Preferred Qualifications:
- Forklift certification
- CDL (Class A or B) is a plus
- Experience supporting fiber optic or utility construction projects
