Description

Terrazzo and Marble Supply Company is a 100% Employee-Owned, industry-leading business with over 75 years of success. We are one of the largest distributors of natural stone slabs, poured-in-place terrazzo, and quartz surfacing. We believe that the cornerstone of our success is due to the teamwork and dedication of our employee-owners.


We are looking to add a Full-Time, Permanent Material Handler for a Monday-through-Friday day shift. This role is an opportunity to learn about the Terrazzo Industry and connect with influencers in the field.


Responsibilities:

  • Fill customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Label materials as needed.
  • Record data on orders accurately.
  • Moving material components using a variety of equipment.
  • Identifies damaged materials and records material shortages.
  • Loads and unloads materials onto and from various containers.
  • Cleans and organizes the warehouse and warehouse supplies.
  • Maintains a safe, clean working environment.

  • Forklift experience is a plus, but is not required

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One to two years of related experience or equivalent.
  • Forklift a plus but not required
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
  • Ability to manage priorities and workflow.
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Acute attention to detail.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following:


Lift and move a minimum of 50 pounds without assistance.

Climb a ladder to a height of at least 20 feet.

Wear appropriate safety equipment.

Ability to stand, walk, sit, climb, and balance on a regular basis.


WORK ENVIRONMENT:

The environment may be cool or hot, and the noise level can be moderate to high.



Compensation details: 18-20 Hourly Wage
