Start Time: Between 5:00 AM - 7:00 AM (End time based on start time and overtime needs)

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Associate / Inventory & Materials Specialist to support inventory management, shipping and receiving, logistics, and material handling operations. This role is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, coordinating shipments, supporting manufacturing and testing operations, and ensuring materials are available to meet production and business demands.


Key Responsibilities

Shipping & Receiving

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments for quantity, quality, and accuracy.
  • Review and sign Bills of Lading (BOLs).
  • Label, package, store, and distribute materials according to company procedures.
  • Prepare and coordinate outgoing shipments with internal departments and external facilities.


Inventory Control

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels for GMP and non-GMP materials.
  • Update inventory records and ERP systems.
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with annual physical inventories.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis.
  • Identify and help resolve overstock, slow-moving, and obsolete inventory.


Material Handling & Logistics

  • Move, deliver, and properly disposition materials throughout the facility.
  • Support material availability for manufacturing, service, testing, and other operations.
  • Assist with supply chain coordination, critical parts availability, and product shipments.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve inventory, transfer, and order issues.


Process Improvement

  • Assist in developing and improving inventory control, shipping, receiving, and logistics procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, accuracy, and material control.


Qualifications

Required

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and established procedures.


Preferred

  • 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, shipping/receiving, inventory control, or materials management.
  • Experience working in a cGMP, pharmaceutical, scientific, or regulated environment.
  • Experience using ERP systems (SAP preferred).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
