Locates and picks product to fill customer orders in all picking areas within the Warehouse Distribution Center. Locates, gathers, and transports quantities of filter products throughout the distribution center and warehouse areas to fill customer orders. Operates powered equipment and assist in physical inventory count as assigned.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Support and adhere to Parker's Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures and observe guidelines. Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

Essential Functions:

  • Picks orders according to bay locations, procuring correct quantity and type of component, according to production jobs.

  • Utilize pick labels, pick sheets, and voice picking equipment as necessary to pick orders.

  • Replenishes inventory in bay locations manually or using appropriate material handling equipment.

  • Operates equipment as assigned, which may include lift trucks, order pickers, SA`s, electric or manual pallet jacks, stretch wrap machines, hand-held RF terminals, and radios.

  • Assists in physical inventory counts of components as required.

  • Inspect cases of components / boxes to ensure that damaged or otherwise defective cases are not received / shipped. Reports on problems to department supervision immediately.

  • Responsible for meeting established productivity standards.

  • Completes department paperwork as required.

  • Keeps work area neat, clean, organized, and under control.

  • Responsible for always observing safety rules and reporting unsafe conditions to department supervisor.

  • Responsible for quality and safety of own work and compliance with all company procedures and policies.

  • May require operating powered equipment including any or all the following Forklift (Stand up / Sit- Down), Order picker, Tugger, Turret Truck, pallet jack, electric pallet jack. May require climbing ladder.

  • You must be able to lift to 50 pounds.

  • Must be willing to do other job functions such as bin filling, tugging to the cells, and put away at any time.

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • Forklift Certification.

While performing the essential functions of this job, the associate will be required to walk, talk, and/or hear. The associate will be required to stand for long periods of time, sit, and/or reach with both hands and arms. The associate will occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Normal weight to be lifted or moved is between 0 to 15 pounds. The associate will be exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
