An Onsite Warehouse Associate for Meyer Plastics Inc is responsible for handling inventory, shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations at the company’s facility. The associate works directly in the warehouse and production environment to ensure plastic materials and finished products are stored, organized, and shipped efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and unload incoming plastic materials and supplies
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment
- Load and unload trucks safely
- Organize warehouse inventory and storage locations
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and warehouse equipment
- Use barcode scanners and inventory systems to track products
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment
- Maintain shipping and receiving paperwork
- Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies
- Keep warehouse and work areas clean and organized
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for long periods
- Basic computer and inventory skills
- Good teamwork and communication abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience
- Forklift certification
- Experience with shipping and inventory systems
- Knowledge of warehouse safety procedures
