Position Summary |
The Warehouse Associate performs tasks to ensure accurate and timely transactions by following department processes and procedures to safely operate equipment while handling material (i.e., loading and unloading of material) within a warehouse or plant environment, ensuring compliance within the facility as it relates to quality, productivity, safety, and security.

Ensure all safety procedures, practices, and regulations are followed before, during, and after the process to foster a positive safety culture by having a safety-first mindset and approach during execution of activities
Based on the nature of the essential functions associated with this role, GreenWood has designated this as a “safety-sensitive” position

Essential Skills and Experience |
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Minimum of 6 months of relevant warehouse experience
Strong work ethic with proven ability to support a positive team environment
Ability to complete necessary training and follow safety policies, procedures, and processes
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
Ability to prioritize with an emphasis on quality of work and sense of urgency
Ability to hold themselves accountable for their areas of responsibility and for their actions
Willingness and desire to perform responsibilities accurately and efficiently with a high level of customer service
Experience demonstrating successful support of a positive safety culture
Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation(s)
Beneficial Skills and Experience |
Greater than 6 months of experience in a warehouse or production environment in a material handling role
Forklift experience
Extensive knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures in material handling field
