Warehouse Associate

Russell Tobin's client is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Edwardsville, KS

Employment Type: Contract

Location: Onsite - Edwardsville, KS 66111

Schedule: Sunday: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM | Monday – Thursday: 1:00 PM – 9:30 PM

Pay rate: $20-$21/hr

Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using RF scanners or pick tickets with accuracy.
• Verify product descriptions, quantities, and unit measurements before shipment.
• Perform quality checks and package orders carefully to prevent damage.
• Receive incoming shipments and report discrepancies when necessary.
• Stock, replenish, and rotate inventory while maintaining organization.
• Meet daily productivity and shipping deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse while following company policies and safety procedures.
• Assist with additional warehouse duties and overtime as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred with at least 1 year of warehouse, distribution, or related experience.
• Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems, along with basic computer skills and English reading comprehension.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand and walk for the entire shift and frequently lift up to 35 lbs. (occasionally up to 50–70 lbs.).
• Capable of bending, reaching, kneeling, stooping, grasping, and performing repetitive physical tasks in a production-driven warehouse.
• Dependable with a strong sense of urgency, able to meet productivity standards, work in a moderately noisy environment, and work overtime as needed.
