The Warehouse Assistant Manager supports the Warehouse Manager in overseeing transportation, storage, and distribution activities in compliance with organizational policies and regulations.
- Assist with warehouse operations, planning, and coordination of logistics.
- Ensure team compliance with policies, maintain a safe and clean environment, and manage salvage collection and transportation.
- Operate equipment such as forklifts, manage baling logs, and oversee safety and theft prevention.
- Provide excellent customer service, attend training, and maintain a professional appearance.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, retail experience preferred, and ability to work with diverse teams.
- Physical demands include standing, lifting up to 50 lbs., bending, and exertion required for warehouse tasks.
