STRUCTURAL TECHNOLOGIES is the in-house engineering business line of Structural Group.

We are currently hiring  an Assistant Warehouse Technician for the warehouse located in Columbia, Maryland.  As  an Assistant Warehouse Technician you will be accountable for providing warehouse support, which could include inventory checks, equipment repairs and maintenance, invoice preparation and parts ordering.

The successful candidate will also be responsible for:

·       Minimal  receiving and inspection of incoming shipments

·       Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment to support equipment repair

·       Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, pallet wrappers, etc.

·       Maintain a clean and safe work environment

·       Assist with semi-annual inventory counts and warehouse organization

·       Follow all Company safety procedures and policies

·       All other duties as assigned

Candidates who meet the following criteria may be considered for this position:

·       Highschool diploma or vocational degree

·       Basic mechanical knowledge and of SAE and metric tools.

·       Willing to teach;

-       Maintenance and servicing equipment on project sites

·           - Support project  teams utilizing our specialized equipment

-       Safe operation and maintenance of our specialized equipment

-        

-       OSHA certifications

·        Basic understanding of Microsoft Office products preferred

·       Forklift experience preferred

·       Up to  5% of travel may be required for this position
