The Role

The Vice President, Regional Planning Consultant plays a critical role in elevating associate performance by providing subject matter expertise across a wide range of financial planning and investment solutions. This includes client engagement, planning tools and concepts, product strategies, and practice management techniques. As part of this position, you will coordinate with branch management and a team of coaches to build and execute development plans that improve associate capabilities.

You will deliver collaborative coaching, support advisors in client appointments, and model guidelines through strong preparation and follow-up. Additionally, you will communicate insights and strategies to help associates grow into highly effective advisors while reinforcing consistent business execution. Success in this role requires building and maintaining positive relationships with company executives and business collaborators. You will provide proactive and reactive mentoring, leveraging Salesforce Coaching App 2.0 to document coaching activities, track progress, and foster skill development.

  • Series 66 & Insurance licenses obtained within 6 months of hire

The Regional Planning Consultant Vice President leads the Wealth Management Coaching Team. They set the vision and decide how to deploy mentoring resources to improve impact across aligned advisors. This team is dedicated to developing advisors through collaboration, mentoring, and targeted support, ensuring they have the skills needed to grow their business and deliver personalized financial guidance. By partnering closely with branch leadership and business partners, the team reinforces the principles of the Fidelity Relationship Model and Standards of Care, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, accountability, and client-centric excellence.  

Fidelity’s Onsite Working Model
Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles.

The base salary range for this position is $118,000-226,000 USD per year.  

Placement in the range will vary based on job responsibilities and scope, geographic location, candidate’s relevant experience, and other factors.

Base salary is only part of the total compensation package. Depending on the position and eligibility requirements, the offer package may also include bonus or other variable compensation.
