Job Summary and Qualifications
The VP of Quality Management directs multiple facility-wide functions including performance improvement, patient safety, risk management, regulatory compliance, and infection control. What you will do in this role:
• Consult and educate management and hospital staff regarding all aspects of Quality and Risk Management, performance improvement, patient safety, risk management, regulatory compliance, and infection control.
• Function as the Risk Manager and direct the clinical risk management program, including the functions of clinical risk management, claims management, and program administration.
• Provide counseling and education to facility leadership, clinical personnel, Board of Trustees, and medical staff members related to risk exposures, including risk prevention and risk reduction.
What qualifications you will need:
• Bachelors Degree required, Nursing or Health-Related field preferred.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Tennessee or compact state required.
• 5 years of healthcare experience required, clinical experience preferred.
• 2 years of experience in quality management required.
• Prior supervisory and/or management experience required.
• American Heart Association or Red Cross BLS required.
• CPHQ and/or ASHRM preferred.
• Knowledge of PC-based computer software, i.e., Word, Excel, and/or similar systems preferred.
• Broad knowledge and familiarity with healthcare-related regulatory and accreditation requirements required.
TriStar Summit is a 230-bed comprehensive facility. We serve Davidson, Wilson, and surrounding counties. We include a Level III Trauma Center. We offer a full array of acute care services, including cardiology, oncology, orthopedics, spine rehabilitation, and womens services. We are an Accredited Chest Pain Center with PCI.
