Job Summary

 

The VP of Finance is responsible for the company's financial operations and administrative function and is responsible for shaping the financial strategy of the organization in support of the organization’s overall business strategy.  Working closely with the business President and leadership team providing financial leadership, strategic insights and operational excellence. 

 

Job Location

 

This is an onsite role based at our Corporate Office in Atlanta, GA.

 

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Work with business President and Senior Leadership Team to set overall financial goals and objectives as well as functional goals and objectives in support of our strategic plan and current year profit plan
  • Lead monthly business reviews to help drive execution of long term strategy & profit plan
  • Own the full P&L and balance sheet responsibility while driving process improvements, implementing policies and increase efficiencies
  • Analyzes operating results and business processes.
  • Creates and supports an internal control environment that safeguards company assets. 
  • Interact with and support the teams that perform financial reporting, accounting, billing, collections, payroll, and budgeting duties.
  • Provide training and development for staff in finance management, budgeting, SOX compliance and any other needs identified in the department.
  • Acquisitions – due diligence support, onboarding & acquisition integration
  • Be the guardian of Capex approvals and spend.  
  • Develop key leaders throughout the organization with successful hiring, talent development & succession planning

 

Job Requirements

 

  • CPA and / or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • 10+ years experience as a finance leader, preferably in manufacturing or related industries.
  • 5+ years’ experience managing successful finance teams
  • Experience managing complex projects and cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to travel up to 25%
