Talent Space, Inc. is seeking a VP of Enterprise Engineering for a full time opportunity in Palo Alto!

We are seeking a Vice President of Enterprise Engineering to drive the architecture, scalability, integrations, and enterprise deployment strategy of our client’s AI platform. This role is suited for a hands-on engineering executive with a proven track record of building enterprise-scale platforms, cloud infrastructure, and complex system integrations for large organizations.
The ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally with executive leadership, AI engineering, product, customer success, and enterprise customers to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable solutions that’s power sophisticated enterprise workflows and AI-enabled operations.
This position offers a unique opportunity to lead critical technical initiatives and shape the future of the platform through ownership of architecture, infrastructure scalability, enterprise deployments, integrations, and overall engineering execution.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and execution of the long-term enterprise architecture strategy for the AI platform.
  • Design and oversee scalable, secure, and highly resilient infrastructure capable of supporting complex Fortune 100 enterprise deployments.
  • Collaborate with AI engineering and product teams to deploy and optimize large-scale AI and agentic workflows in production environments.
  • Drive enterprise integration initiatives across platforms including SAP, Oracle Fusion, ServiceNow, Microsoft ecosystems, and other enterprise systems.
  • Architect and manage cloud-native infrastructure leveraging Azure and Kubernetes technologies.
  • Establish and enforce best practices for platform performance, reliability, observability, security, governance, and scalability.
  • Partner directly with enterprise customers to evaluate technical requirements and design deployment solutions for complex operational environments.
  • Develop technical strategies for multi-tenant architectures, data governance, security isolation, and enterprise compliance initiatives.
  • Work closely with executive leadership to support roadmap planning, technical prioritization, and strategic customer engagements.
  • Mentor, develop, and scall high-performing engineering and platform teams.
  • Define and improve engineering processes, deployment standards, and operational methodologies to support global platform growth.
 Qualifications
  •  12+ years of experience in enterprise software engineering, platform engineering, infrastructure, or enterprise architecture roles.
  • Proven track record of designing, building, and scaling enterprise SaaS, cloud, or AI-driven platforms.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure and architecture, with strong preference for Microsoft Azure expertise
  • Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, container orchestration, distributed systems, APIs, and large-scale enterprise integrations.
  • Experience integrating and managing enterprise platforms such as SAP, Oracle Fusion, ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar ecosystems.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise security, governance, compliance standards, and production deployment methodologies.
  • Background in building scalable infrastructure for AI/ML, data-intensive applications, or high-performance systems in highly preferred
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate across executive leadership, customers, and technical teams.
  • Experience working within high-growth organizations, enterprise modernization efforts or rapidly scaling technology environments preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate strategically while remaining hands-on in technical architecture and execution.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience deploying and managing AI systems within regulated, enterprise, or compliance-driven environments.
  • Experience with multi-agent AI architectures, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise AI platforms or tooling.
  • Familiarity with enterprise identity management, RBAC, SSO, and cloud security architecture.
  • Experience supporting global enterprise deployments and leading customer-facing technical engagements and initiatives.
  • Background working with Fortune 500 clients and complex enterprise procurement/security processes.
