The Pay Scale is $337,000 to $512,000

Position Summary
The VP of Finance Operations is responsible for all central finance operations and finance shared services. This position supports system leadership in strategic financial analysis, internal and external reporting, and is responsible for financial systems and processes. It closely partners with the Chief Financial Officers and other senior executive teams as liaison among system, markets, and the network. At the discretion of the SVP/ CFO of Care Delivery and Shared Services, the scope of responsibilities maybe be enhanced for a defined period or permanently.

Essential Functions

General accounting, accounts payable, payroll

Financial planning, budget, capital, productivity reporting

Internal and external financial reports

Net revenue, reimbursement, regulatory reporting & taxes

The annual independent audit

System standards on financial processes and technology

Develop and grow central finance team, coordinate financial training and resources to MHS leaders

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting

Master's degree in business, finance, hospital administration, or related field OR CPA

Minimum ten (10) years of experience in finance and/or financial analysis in a complex healthcare environment

Minimum five (5) years of experience and demonstrated skills in progressive management roles; Prior healthcare CFO experience preferred

Consideration may be given to internal candidates not meeting the minimum requirements
