Non-Profit Organization

Imprimis Group is hiring a relationship-driven Volunteer Coordinator to support and retain volunteers across a defined territory. This role is the backbone of the community — making sure volunteers feel supported, confident, and connected so they stay engaged long-term.
This is not a recruiting role. This is about retention, coaching, and building real relationships. If you’re someone who shows up, follows through, and genuinely cares about people — this is where you’ll thrive.

What You’ll Own
  • Volunteer retention and overall troop health across your territory
  • Day-to-day support and coaching of volunteers and troop leaders
  • First-year success of new volunteers
  • Strength of local volunteer networks and community engagement
  • Ensuring a consistent, positive experience from onboarding through long-term involvement

What You’ll Do
  • Serve as the main point of contact for volunteers — responsive, reliable, and solutions-focused
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships through regular check-ins and ongoing support
  • Coach volunteers through challenges and help them navigate real-time issues
  • Support new leaders through onboarding, first meetings, and early wins
  • Monitor troop activity, engagement, and retention — step in early when something is off
  • Identify at-risk groups and take action to stabilize and recover
  • Attend community meetings, events, and volunteer gatherings to stay visible and connected
  • Partner closely with internal teams to ensure smooth transitions from recruitment to placement to ongoing support
  • Keep systems updated and use data to guide decisions and priorities

What You Bring
  • 3–5+ years in relationship management, community engagement, education, nonprofit, or similar
  • Strong people skills — you know how to build trust quickly and keep it
  • Ability to coach, guide, and handle tough conversations with professionalism
  • Organized and comfortable working with data, tracking activity, and managing follow-up
  • Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce or similar is a plus)
  • Self-starter mindset — you don’t wait to be told what to do
  • Comfortable being in the field, attending events, and working some evenings/weekends

What Success Looks Like
  • Volunteers stay engaged and feel supported
  • New leaders get off to a strong start and stick around
  • Troops remain active, stable, and growing
  • Issues are handled early — not after things fall apart
  • Strong community presence and trusted relationships across your territory

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
  • Experience working with volunteers, community groups, or leadership development
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel locally within the territory
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when needed
  • Must pass background screening

Why This Role
This is a mission-driven organization where the work matters. You’ll see the direct impact of what you do in your community, with your volunteers, and in the lives you support.

If you’re wired to help people succeed, stay organized, and build real relationships — this is your kind of role.
