Protect the rights, dignity, and well-being of vulnerable adults across Oregon.

Guardian Partners is a growing, financially stable Oregon nonprofit dedicated to protecting adults living with cognitive impairments and developmental disabilities. In partnership with county courts, we recruit, train, and support volunteers who conduct independent reviews of adult guardianship cases, helping ensure safety, self-determination, and accountability within the guardianship system.

We are seeking a compassionate, organized, and relationship-focused Volunteer & Community Engagement Coordinator to recruit, train, and support volunteers across multiple Oregon counties while conducting a limited caseload of guardianship reviews. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in volunteer management, nonprofit programs, social services, advocacy, or community engagement who wants to make a meaningful impact.

This full-time hybrid position combines volunteer leadership, community outreach, case review work, and collaboration with courts and community partners. You'll join a small, mission-driven team that values flexibility, communication, innovation, and service.

Why Join Guardian Partners?

  • Meaningful work protecting vulnerable adults
  • Stable nonprofit organization not dependent on federal funding
  • Hybrid work environment with scheduling flexibility
  • Generous PTO, paid healthcare, and benefits package
  • Retirement plan with employer matching contribution
  • Mileage reimbursement for all approved travel
  • Collaborative and supportive small-team culture
  • Opportunities to build community partnerships and volunteer leadership programs

Mentor volunteers through in-person adult guardianship case reviews, investigation, and preparing court reports. Manage and support volunteers through ongoing communication, training, and performance feedback.

Case management: Maintain a small, manageable caseload of case reviews, including meeting in-person with adults under guardianship, interviewing family guardians and other professionals, and writing reports with recommendations or intervention for the court.

Administrative duties: Review case documentation, manage case activity, and ensure compliance with agency policies and procedures. Ensure all activities align with Guardian Partners' mission and standards for volunteer engagement and client advocacy.

Qualifications: We encourage applicants from diverse backgrounds to apply, even if they do not meet every preferred qualification.
