The Head Coach - Volleyball, MS physical Ed./Fitness is a part-time, professional role reporting to the Athletic Director.
Responsibilities include overseeing Middle and Upper School volleyball programs, scheduling practices and games, coordinating logistics, managing communications with parents, and supporting student-athlete development. The position involves working with youth sports, organizing camps/clinics, and collaborating with other coaches and departments to promote athletic and academic balance.
Hours during the school year average 4-6 hours daily, with summer duties limited to essential practices, camps, and tournaments. The role may include supporting other female sports and assisting in PE/fitness classes.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree, coaching experience with youth players, familiarity with club volleyball and recruitment, and proficiency in communication and organizational tools. Preferred experience in athletic operations and working within school or club sports is advantageous.
