  • Provide Tier 3 escalation support for complex VoIP, SIP, and gateway issues.
  • Develop architectural standards, roadmaps, and lifecycle strategies for enterprise voice services.
  • Deliver executive-level technical briefings and mentor engineering teams.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred).

  • 10-15+ years of experience in enterprise voice/VoIP engineering or architecture.

  • Proven experience supporting large-scale telephony deployments and migrations, including Cisco to Microsoft Teams Telephony.

  • VoIP Protocols & Standards: Expert-level understanding of SIP, RTP/RTCP, H.323, and codec technologies (G.711, G.729, Opus).

  • Networking Fundamentals: Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, QoS, MPLS, SD-WAN, and routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) for voice traffic prioritization.

  • Platforms & Vendors:

  • Cisco Unified Contact Center (UCCX/UCCE)

  • Security & Compliance: Familiarity with PCI, HIPAA, and secure voice recording requirements.
