The Sales Representative is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while actively supporting and contributing to our culture. This role focuses on building strong, long-lasting relationships with customers and teammates, and supporting business development efforts with steel fabricators, engineers, architects, and other partners.
This role requires in office presence, a willingness to travel, reliable means to do so, and the ability to work more than 40 hours per week as needed.
Key responsibilities include maintaining the highest standards of service through professional, informative, and timely written and verbal communication with internal and external customers. The Sales Representative is also responsible for accurately estimating joist and deck requirements from contract documents and assisting with the coordination of engineering, fabrication, and delivery activities.
Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
