Step Into the Role
From the first glance at a newly machined part to the final sign-off, you’ll be the sharp set of eyes that keeps quality on track. As a Visual Quality Control Technician, you’ll examine components, spot imperfections, and complete light rework—such as rust removal and correcting surface flaws—so each part meets our standards.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay Rate: $19.50/hour – $21.00/hour
- Shifts:
- Hybrid Shift: 12:00 PM – 8:30 PM
- 3rd Shift: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
- Note: Mandatory Saturday work is required.
A Day in the Life
You’ll start by reviewing parts queued for inspection, using a keen eye to identify any inconsistencies. When issues surface—like rust or surface blemishes—you’ll take care of them with light rework, then document findings and keep your station orderly. Throughout the shift, you’ll follow established quality procedures and safety guidelines to ensure consistent, reliable results.
What You’ll Tackle
- Conduct visual inspections of parts and components to verify conformance.
- Record and communicate defects that fall outside requirements.
- Perform light rework (e.g., rust removal, surface corrections) to bring parts up to spec.
- Maintain a clean, well-organized work area at all times.
- Adhere to safety protocols and company quality standards.
