The Opportunity
The Visual Merchandise Lead is responsible for driving sales through strategic product placement, store presentation, and data-informed merchandising decisions. This role blends creativity with analytics by leveraging sales trends, inventory data, and customer behavior to optimize the in-store experience and maximize revenue. This position also serves as a keyholder and store leader when needed.
How you will make an impact
Execute and maintain visual merchandising standards aligned with the Mitchell & Ness brand
Analyze sales data, product performance, and customer trends to inform merchandising decisions
Determine product placement, floor sets, and key item positioning to maximize sales
Own floor flow, signage, and storytelling to enhance the customer journey
Partner with store leadership on assortment planning and inventory prioritization
Ensure timely execution of new product launches, promotions, and seasonal transitions
Train associates on visual standards and product presentation expectations
Use in-store insights to refine layout and merchandising to improve overall sales performance
Maintain cleanliness and organization of all displays and stock areas
Act as Manager on Duty, including opening/closing responsibilities
What you bring to the team
1-3+ years of retail experience, with a focus on visual merchandising preferred
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Strong understanding of retail KPIs (sales, sell-through, conversion, AOV)
Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable merchandising strategies
Creative eye for product presentation and brand storytelling
Proven ability to engage customers in a positive, approachable, and brand-aligned manner
Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with customers and team members
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
Strong organizational and execution skills
Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
