Primary Responsibilities:The Visual Media Marketing Specialist is responsible for producing the visual and creative assets that power JSA’s marketing campaigns, brand identity, and agent-facing communications. This role combines graphic design, photography, and multicultural visual content production to deliver compelling, on-brand materials across digital and print channels. The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of visual design and photography experience, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, a strong portfolio demonstrating both design and photography work, and the ability to manage multiple creative projects simultaneously. Spanish language proficiency is a strong plus, as JSA is actively expanding its multicultural agent and consumer outreach. What You Get To Do: Graphic Design & Brand Execution - Design marketing materials including digital ads, social media graphics, email campaign visuals, event collateral, brochures, flyers, and branded presentations.
- Produce print-ready files and digital assets in multiple formats with precise attention to bleed, resolution, color profiles, and file specifications.
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual deliverables, applying JSA brand standards and carrier co-branding requirements accurately.
- Build and update the ProShop/Marq template library, creating reusable branded templates for the sales team and independent agent network.
- Organize and maintain the marketing asset library, ensuring all files are properly labeled, versioned, and accessible to the team.
Photography & Visual Content Production - Plan and execute photo shoots for events, agent spotlights, team headshots, office environments, and campaign imagery.
- Manage all aspects of shoot logistics including scheduling, equipment setup, lighting, talent direction, and on-site coordination.
- Edit, retouch, and deliver final photography files optimized for web, social media, print, and email use.
- Capture supplemental video footage and b-roll to support social media reels, event recaps, and promotional content as needed.
- Maintain organized archives of all photography and video assets with accurate metadata and easy retrieval.
Campaign & Content Support - Collaborate with the Marketing Specialist and Director of Marketing Strategy to produce visual assets for email campaigns, event promotions, agent recruitment initiatives, and carrier partner programs.
- Develop social media graphics and short-form visual content aligned to campaign calendars managed in Monday.com.
- Support multicultural marketing initiatives by adapting creative materials for Spanish-speaking agent and consumer audiences; bilingual candidates are strongly preferred.
- Coordinate with external vendors and print partners on production specifications, proofing, and delivery timelines.
Administrative & Operational Support - Track project status and deliverables in Monday.com, communicating proactively on timelines and flagging capacity issues early.
- Monitor visual design and photography trends in the Medicare insurance and financial services space to inform creative strategy.
- Perform other marketing-related duties as assigned by the Director of Marketing Strategy or senior leadership.

Skills & Abilities:- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Lightroom; Premiere Pro a plus)
- Strong photography skills including composition, lighting, and post-processing
- Exceptional visual design sensibility and brand judgment
- Ability to translate campaign briefs into compelling visual concepts independently
- Detail-oriented with strong file management and production workflow skills
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple creative deadlines simultaneously
- Strong interpersonal and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Spanish language proficiency (spoken and written) strongly preferred
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Photography, Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of professional graphic design and/or photography experience in a marketing, agency, or in-house creative environment.
- Adobe Creative Suite skills with a portfolio demonstrating both design and photography work
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple visual projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Experience with digital marketing channels including email, social media, and web content.
- Strong organizational and creative project management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Spanish language proficiency strongly preferred; bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply.
- Experience with video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience with template platforms such as ProShop, Marq, or Canva a plus.
Physical Job Requirements & Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to remain in a stationary position for up to eight hours in an office environment. The employee occasionally is required to move to access people or workspaces. Involves frequent telephone contact with agents and employees. Interaction with others is constant and may be interruptive. The employee may occasionally lift files, paper, or office equipment weighing up to 35 pounds. Requires manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, calculator, telephone, copier, and other such office equipment as necessary. Vision must be correctable to 20/30 and hearing must be in the normal range for telephone contacts. It is necessary to view and type on computer screens for long periods and the ability to optimally communicate is required.
