Summary You will serve as a VISUAL INFORMATION SPECIALIST in the PUBLIC AFFAIRS DIVISION of MARFORCOM NORFOLK. Responsibilities You will serve as a multimedia and senior technical expert on all illustrative design matters such as electronic layout, production trimlines, project budget planning, and contracting support. You will plan, design, produce, and present multimedia projects incorporating photography, video, graphic design, and illustration. You will provide direction and provide oversight on project pre-production tasks including time and cost estimates, script writing, storyboarding and media material acquisition. You will set up and operate a variety of specialized cameras including still images, video, and digital imaging cameras in various formats with accessory equipment, to obtain optimum coverage of events and products. You will ensure timely delivery of completed products to requesters. You will update, review and post content and media products on command website and command Facebook page and ensures alignment with the Major Subordinate Command (MSC) sites and pages. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: planning, producing, and delivering multimedia products to convey an organization's mission and activities to internal and external audiences.
