Job Duties The Virginia Museum of the Civil War at the New Market Battlefield State Historical Park is accepting applications for a part-time Visitor Services Technician. Duties include: orienting visitors operating a cash register credit card terminal customer service

Hours: 8:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m. (Hours worked as needed by management)

Minimum Qualifications Qualifications: • Requires interest in history & strong communications skills • Enthusiasm for working with the public • Basic computer skills • Familiarity with the POS system • Neat business-like appearance

Additional Considerations Experience in retail sales Poise, reliability, & friendly professional manner Proven experience with customer service
