ANNOUNCMENT
The Division of Mathematics and Computer Science at Maryville College, a selective four-year liberal arts college committed to superior teaching, invites applications for a one-year, full-time Visiting Lecturer of Computer Science position beginning in August 2026. Qualified candidates will be committed to excellence in teaching and champions of the liberal arts model of undergraduate education.
Teaching responsibilities include courses in programming, software design and development, algorithms, and supervision of senior projects. Additional responsibilities may include advising students and/or coaching the programming team.
Applicants should demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, evidence of ongoing professional development, and a readiness to engage in the life of the college.
