The University of South Dakota's Beacom School of Business seeks applications for a visiting assistant professor in finance beginning in Fall 2026.
The Beacom School of Business is the flagship business school in South Dakota and the region with its programs consistently receiving high national rankings from institutions such as U.S. News and World Report, Princeton Review and others. The Beacom School of Business' state-of-the-art Ellis Finance and Analytics Lab provides faculty and students the opportunity for research and business analysis utilizing Bloomberg terminals. Faculty in finance offer an undergraduate major and a specialization in the MBA program. The Finance major has experienced significant growth and is one of the schools largest majors. Job placement for graduates is excellent.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach a variety of undergraduate and/or graduate courses in finance. The faculty member is expected to provide an outstanding educational experience to students through classroom teaching, mentorship, and student activities outside the classroom. Duties include outstanding teaching, scholarly research, and service for the Department, University, profession, and broader community. The successful candidate will be expected to teach classes on the main campus in Vermillion, online, and occasionally in Sioux Falls, SD.

Preferred Qualifications Degrees from AACSB-International accredited business school are preferred. Candidates with work experience are preferred.
