Job Description The Hope College Engineering Department invites applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor in Engineering full-time teaching position on a 9 month contract to begin August 2026. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, providing individual instruction during office hours, and preparing, administering, and grading examinations.

Qualifications Candidates should have either a Ph.D. or Masters degree in engineering or a closely related field.

Physical Demands This position requires remaining in a sitting or standing position for frequent periods of time, uses office machinery such as a computer, printer, copy machine, and occasionally involves moving items over 10 pounds frequently, will move between different offices, workspaces, buildings, and requires effective communication abilities.
