Overview
The Department of Economics invites applications for two Visiting Assistant Professor positions beginning Fall 2026. The appointment is for one year with a teaching load of three (3) courses per semester.
Duties and Responsibilities
Teaching load of three (3) courses per semester.
Education and Experience
A master's degree in economics is required; PhD or ABD is preferred. We seek candidates with the ability to teach Microeconomics Principles and Macroeconomics Principles. Ability to teach other higher-level courses such as Sports Economics, Public Finance, and Labor Economics is also desirable. Courses will be taught in-person at the Providence College campus.
Successful candidates are expected to have a demonstrated commitment to effective and inclusive teaching with a diverse group of students.

The salary range for this position is $70,000-$80,000.
