Description
The School of Business at the University of Mount Union invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor.
The School of Business at the University of Mount Union is comprised of undergraduate majors in accounting, ?nance, management, marketing, and sport business. Additionally, it o?ers minors in accounting, business administration, economics, entrepreneurship, leadership studies, marketing, and sport business. The School of Business o?ers a breadth of knowledge and career speci?c study through a robust curriculum and experiential learning opportunities. Undergraduate programs currently o?ered in the School of BusinessareaccreditedthroughtheAccreditationCouncilforBusinessSchools and Programs (ACBSP) Baccalaureate/Graduate Degree Board of Commissioners and the Commission on Sport Management Accreditation (COSMA). The school also o?ers an online MBA program with several concentrations.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will include teaching a variety of undergraduate business courses including Introduction to Business, Business Communication, Sales Management, and Legal and Ethical Issues of Business .Additionally, the candidate will be expected to serve as an advisor and mentor for undergraduate majors, support students in research, and participate in research and service activities within the School of Business, the University, and the community.
Qualifications
Quali?cations include an earned doctorate in business, or closely related discipline. ABD maybe considered at the designation of Visiting Professor. We seek candidates with demonstrated commitment to equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging.
