Description Benefits Description In this one-year position, the person will be prepared to teach undergraduate courses in pure and applied mathematics. This non-tenure track position is a 9-month appointment with the expected possibility of renewal.
Examples of Duties The teaching load is two courses per semester plus sponsoring individual and group tutorials, independent study projects, and senior theses. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications A Ph.D. in mathematics is required
Preferred Qualifications Expertise in applied mathematics is preferred, but strong candidates in any area of mathematics will be considered. We are particularly interested in candidates who have a demonstrated commitment to innovative undergraduate liberal arts teaching.
