Visiting Assistant Professor, Economics (Temporary)

The Department of Economics in the Alfred Lerner College of Business and Economics at the University of Delaware invites applications for two visiting assistant professor positions in Economics. The beginning date for the position is August 15, 2026.

Job Summary

Successful candidates will demonstrate the drive and vision to develop an innovative, and cutting-edge instructional program. The teaching load is six three-credit courses per year. This is a one-year position.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and teach an innovative, and cutting-edge instructional program
  • Teach six three-credit courses per year
  • Possess a Ph.D. in Economics or adjacent discipline

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in Economics or adjacent discipline
  • Excellent teaching skills, preferably with experience teaching large courses
  • Ability to develop and implement an innovative instructional program
