We provide quality resources in four specialty areas: Information Technology (IT), Clinical Research, Rehabilitation Therapy and Nursing.Job DescriptionTitle: Virtualization and Server AdministratorLocation: Bridgewater, NJThe Virtualization and Server Administrator is responsible for advanced administration, design, build, implementation and support of server environments, including VMware vSphere-hosted virtual machines, Citrix XenApp farms, and physical Windows servers. This position also provides support of UNIX and LINUX server environments, disk storage systems, backup/restore environments, and local area network/wireless network communications equipment to effectively support the LifeCell's network and server operations.Primary Duties/Responsibilities: (give an estimated percentage of time for each duty)Manage and administer Server Virtualization (VMware 4.x & 5.x/Citrix 5.x) and Windows Servers: • Build/design VM Requirements, manage and perform physical server host and guest operating system maintenance, installation, patching, configuration, support, backup/restore, monitoring, trending. • Administration of Windows server environmentsAdministration of SAN and disk storageAdministration of LVM structures and file systemsSQL Server administrationTuning systems and I/O for optimal performanceDevelopment, debugging and maintenance of shell scriptsMaintenance of user accounts, group membership and printer configurations 30%Provide technical scripting, tooling and automation for continuous and efficient operations. 10%Participates in activities/projects involving server hardware and/or disk storage solutions. Serve as team representative on projects related to server/storage builds.
