Position Details
The Virtual Learning Coordinator is primarily responsible for supervising
and supporting students enrolled in virtual coursework in grades 9-12. The position will
oversee students participating in credit recovery courses and virtual initial-credit courses that
are not otherwise offered by the district. The coordinator will monitor student progress and
ensure students remain engaged and on pace toward successful course completion and
graduation requirements. The Coordinator will maintain communication with the high school
counselor, parents/guardians, and the teacher of record to provide instructional and
organizational support. The Virtual Learning Coordinator will supervise students from multiple grade levels
simultaneously while maintaining a structured, positive, and academically focused learning
environment. Additional duties may include coordination with counselors and administrators
regarding scheduling, monitoring attendance and academic performance, assisting students
with virtual learning platforms, and maintaining accurate student records.
